How do you mix epoxy?

    1. You've finished preparing your floor and are finally ready to apply your epoxy flooring? Make sure to always follow these mixing techniques to ensure your project is a success!
Always mix Component A first. Since the product may have been stored for several weeks or months, it's normal for some chemical deposits to form at the bottom of the bucket. The heavier components settle down but are essential for the proper chemical reaction.
Therefore, mix Component A for one minute to ensure it is thoroughly uniform. You can take this opportunity to add color if needed. Remember that each Component A should receive one pot of color weighing 120g or 400ml.
To avoid streaks in metallic floors, it's recommended to mix the metallic powder 24 hours before application to allow the powder to disperse properly. After 24 hours, remix Component A before proceeding to the next step.
    2.  Mixing both components. Each kit consists of two components, A and B. When you're ready to begin, mix all components in a bucket following the ratio indicated on the product.
Be carefull! Ratios are volume-based. Therefore, do not try to weigh the products, as the ratios are not the same this way.
For mixing, it's important to use an electric drill and mixer. Be careful not to mix at full speed to avoid introducing air into the product. Mix clockwise for two minutes and counterclockwise for one minute, totaling three minutes. This technique ensures a thorough and uniform mixing of the chemical components of the product.
From this point on, the application time has begun, so it's time to pour your product onto the floor and follow the various application techniques.
